Polly MarchThe Woman Polly trained at Guildhall, and she has appeared in most regional theatres in Britain – playing everything from Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to both Queen Victoria AND a parrot, in To Sea in a Sieve, a musical play about Edward Lear! Her solo show on Lilian Baylis of The Old Vic, Beauty and the Bounders, won a fringe first award at the Edinburgh Festival; the play was commissioned as Play of the Week for BBC 4, and she was appointed Artist-in-Residence to New York University, playing and lecturing on turn-of-the-century British Theatre. Two of her other solo shows have also won awards and been broadcast – and performed here in Malta at the St James Cavalier theatre. And another solo show, originally created for Dawn French, My Brilliant Divorce, directed by Nanette Brimmer, was also staged at St James. Since coming to Malta Polly has directed several plays: Laughing Wild and The Secret Lives of Henry and Alice for TnT, The Alchemist for Unifaun, and Two Gentlemen of Verona for the MADC; and appeared in several plays – High School Musical, Allo Allo, The Sex Comedies, and Are You Being Served, which she also directed. Ilaria FalzonThe Girl Ilaria earned her Trinity pass at the Drama Centre, Blata l-Bajda, during which time she was chosen to perform in Goldoni’s La Locandiera, in Germany. Modelling has also brought her great satisfaction having made the finals of the Fitness Virtual Model competition, and also being shortlisted for the Pantene Hair of the Year award. After signing on to models.com.mt, Ilaria landed key roles in high profile campaigns, including the television commercial for Marsovin’s La Torre wine and the Fino calendar of 2010. This led to various appearances as hostess on events by Opel, Diamonds International, Ice Watch, and Marlboro, and various photo-shoots by Pierre Camille.
